Okay so there were some questions as to the roles in the band and the music. All these shall be answered and MORE!
*Mel Perez plays electric guitar and sings the low part on "Crimson and Clover" and acoustic guitar on "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away" and "You Can't Always Get What You Want"
*I play bass and sing everything else
*Jorge Perez plays drums and makes fun of us during "Sister Christian"
Letters to Cleo, besides playing two covers ( I want you to want me by Cheap Trick and Cruel to Be Kind by Nick Lowe), also plays Co-pilot which is on the Go! album, their last album released before the band's demise. You can still hear Kay Hanley as the voice of Josie in Josie and the Pussycats movie. The other albums I would recommend are Wholesale Meats and Fish and Aurora Gory Alice.
No Go-Go's covers as of yet...I'm thinking maybe "Beatnik Beach", since it is not as "pop" as their other songs.
We are thinking we might get a gig at the neighborhood pub and I want to go back to the alma mater and play at a photo shindig out in the sticks of Commerce, TX (Mel doesn't know about the latter idea yet)
